Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Sabrina Idukpaye, has revealed that she was declared medically fit by a doctor but was still not allowed to rejoin the reality show.

In a video posted on Instagram on Sunday, the 32-year-old Edo-born academic and creative said, “I have seen a lot of messages that I made a decision to exit and that is incorrect. I was ready to be on this journey to the very end. And as you have heard numerous times in the diary session, I was ready to the very finale.”

Sabrina explained that after leaving the House on Monday, August 11, she was taken to a hospital where she underwent several medical tests.
According to her, the results confirmed she was healthy.

“By Tuesday afternoon, I was told all results were unremarkable. Medical language for nothing dey do me. And indeed, nothing dey do me. Not now, not then. So as of Monday, the doctor had already told me I am well,” she said tearfully.

She added that she waited for five days expecting to be recalled but instead received a call on Friday, August 15, informing her she would not return.

“On that call, I was told, I have the unfortunate task of telling you, you will no longer be returning to the show. I was beyond shaken because I thought I would be back after being declared fit,” she recounted.

The former housemate also praised her fellow contestants, describing them as “10 over 10 in their own unique way.”

Sabrina’s exit came barely 24 hours after the eviction of two other housemates, Ibifubara and Danboskid.

On August 11, the organisers announced that she had voluntarily left on medical grounds after consultations with Big Brother and the on-site medical team.

MultiChoice, in its statement, said the decision was made to allow for “thorough medical investigation” and reassured the public that the safety of housemates remained its priority.

Sabrina, who hails from Edo State but was raised in Lagos, studied at McGill University and the London School of Economics.

At McGill, she delivered a TEDx talk. Her career spans modelling, acting, entrepreneurship, and public speaking. She often describes herself as “layered,” blending intellect with self-expression.

Before entering the “Ten Over Ten” season, which carries the show’s highest-ever grand prize of N150 million, Sabrina revealed that walking away from a toxic relationship shaped her values of loyalty, authenticity, and purpose.

She joined the House with the aim of representing multifaceted women, inspiring conversations, and entertaining audiences.
