March Exim CEO Isaac Lale weds Happiness Ejii in Port Harcourt Garden ceremony

The Chief Executive Officer of March Exim Nigeria Limited, Hon. Isaac Lale, has tied the knot with his heartthrob, Barr. Happiness Egbute Ejii, in a colourful garden wedding that drew dignitaries from business and political circles.

The ceremony, held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Oak Park, Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital, marked the beginning of a new chapter for the couple whose union was witnessed by family, friends, and prominent guests.

Hon. Lale, who once served as Personal Assistant to the late Hon. Prince Akinremi Jagaban, expressed gratitude and joy at finding what he described as his “missing rib.” In his vows, he pledged to be a devoted husband. “I promise to be the best husband, to protect, cherish, and love her,” he said, as well-wishers applauded.

The groom’s former principal, Prince Akinremi Jagaban, was fondly remembered at the ceremony. Jagaban, who represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the 9th and part of the 10th House of Representatives, was celebrated in his lifetime as a businessman and philanthropist before his passing in July 2024 at the age of 51.

For her part, the bride, who is the Managing Partner of Cyan Attorneys, described her husband as a kind man and pledged to honour and respect him. “I promise to love him, respect him, and treat him with the utmost dignity,” she said.

The families of the newlyweds expressed joy over the union. The bride’s father, Chief Hon. Marcus Nle Ejii, who serves as Executive Director, Projects & Works, at the South South Development Commission, offered his blessings and counsel. He urged the couple to resolve disagreements amicably and not allow third parties into their marriage.

The event was characterised by laughter, music, and displays of affection, with attendees describing it as a true celebration of love.
