Grand Laureates marks anniversary, award scholarships 

The Proprietress, Grand Laureates Schools, Mrs Idayat Salau, has restated the school’s commitment to inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators, equipping them with skills needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.

Salau made the remark at the 10th anniversary celebration of the school, where it marked a decade of commitment to academic excellence, innovative teaching methodologies, and building a total child.

Speaking at the event in Ota, Ogun State, Salau said the school has evolved into a leading educational institution, nurturing the minds of students and empowering them to achieve their full potential.

She said: “Reaching this 10-year mark is not just a celebration of our past, but a launchpad for our future.

We are incredibly proud of our students, parents and teachers who have supported us throughout this journey. Our mission remains to provide a nurturing environment where every student can thrive and discover his or her passion.”

Since its inception in 2015, she said the school has been dedicated to fostering a holistic learning environment.

With a focus on personalised education, the proprietress explained that the school offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers academics and extra-curricular programmes, ensuring a well-rounded experience for all students.

Addressing the graduating students, Salau enjoined them to uphold the values learnt in school.

On plans, she said the school aims to integrate more technology into everyday learning experiences.

Chairman of the school’s Parent Teachers’ Association, Segun Akerele, applauded the school for its unwavering commitment to quality education and social development of young minds.

As part of the celebration, the school awarded scholarships to the three best performing pupils, and presented valuable gifts to the longest serving teachers, the longest patronising parents, as well as mosques and churches in thanksgiving to God.
