Superba opens in Nigeria, appoints senior advisor for Africa

In response to the policies of the Federal Government aimed at encouraging private sector participation in the country’s aviation industry, Italy-based Superba Consulting has opened an office in Nigeria, which would serve the entire African region.

The firm has also opened an office in Nigeria and has appointed Nuhu Adam as its Senior Advisor – Aircraft Acquisition, Sales and Management.

A statement by the Chief Executive Officer of Superba Consulting, Gianni Riccardi, said Adam would serve as a bridge across the continent in the world of aviation.

Riccardi said his collaboration with Adam has deep roots as both have successfully managed complex operations in the offshore oil and gas sector, including logistics for oil platforms, private jet acquisition and management, as well as advisory on the development of helipads and private airports in high-complexity environments such as Nigeria, Angola and Mozambique.

He specifically said that in Mozambique, for instance, the firm’s efforts supported the development of one of the most important natural gas fields.

Adam joins Superba with over two decades of experience in aviation, logistics, public affairs and diplomacy between Africa and Europe.

Nuhu is a seasoned professional with a career spanning across major institutions such as Intel Nigeria Ltd, Virgin Nigeria Airways, Travelinn Ltd and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), where he led regional projects funded by the World Bank.

He holds degrees in sociology from the University of Ilorin and the University of Lagos and a professional certification from the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
