3 Horizons receives AOC from NCAA

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to 3 Horizons Limited, which would enable it to operate charter services.

A statement by the NCAA yesterday said that the AOC was issued to the new operator by the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Chris Najomo, on Wednesday.

Najomo was said to have urged the new airline to uphold the highest operational and safety standards, warning that the authority would not tolerate any lacuna in safety.

According to him, the issuance of the AOC to 3 Horizons was a clear demonstration that Nigeria’s aviation sector remained open, dynamic and driven by safety.

He also reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to active surveillance, noting that the NCAA would continuously monitor all certified operators to ensure adherence to safety protocols, safeguard passenger welfare and preserve the industry’s overall credibility.

In his response, 3 Horizon Ltd’s Director of Operations, Sanni Shehu, commended the NCAA and the certification team for their support.

Shehu assured that the airline would continue to uphold the terms and conditions of the AOC.
