Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has assured residents that his administration will continue to work in the best interest of the people.
Speaking to journalists after arriving at the Government House on Friday, Governor Fubara expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received at Port Harcourt International Airport.
“I am truly humbled by the turnout at the airport. The reception reflected love, confidence, and solidarity from the people of Rivers State,” he said.
Fubara emphasized that the large turnout was not just a celebration, but a reaffirmation of the strong bond between his government and the residents.
“It showed love, confidence, and solidarity. We will continue to do the things that have earned your support,” he added.
The governor also announced that he would address the state officially by 6:00 pm to appreciate everyone who contributed to restoring normalcy in Rivers State.
