‘Dr Shogo’ to host Guinness World Record attempt for largest vision board gathering

A Guinness World Record attempt for the largest vision board gathering will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at The Podium in Lekki, Lagos.

The event will be hosted by renowned peak performance coach and leadership consultant, Oluwashogo Oyeniyi, popularly known as Dr. Shogo, and will feature participants both physically and virtually.

The initiative aims to bring together thousands of people from Nigeria, Africa, and beyond to simultaneously create vision boards, a symbolic act of mapping out personal and professional goals.

According to the organisers, the attempt is not only about setting a world record but also about inspiring individuals to dream big and take action.

Dr. Shogo, who has addressed audiences in more than 10 countries and consulted for hundreds of African businesses, described the event as “a catalytic moment where vision meets action on a global scale.”

He added that the gathering positions Lagos as the hub of a global movement of “dreamers, doers, and change-makers.”

“We want the world to see that Africa is not only a land of possibilities but also a stage where bold dreams are born and realised,” he said.

The record attempt, tagged, “Dream It, Plan it, Live it”, which also has a registration portal online, will combine creativity, empowerment, and transformation, organisers said.

According to the organisers, the event promises to place Lagos on the world map for hosting the largest simultaneous vision board creation, uniting thousands in a shared act of visualisation and aspiration.
