PFN describes late Uma Ukpai as sensational healing evangelist

Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has described the late Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, founder/president of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), as a sensational healing evangelist.

Its National President, Dr. Francis Wale Oke, while commiserating with the family, said the body of Christ was very sad, hearing the death of one of its founding members.

Speaking with The Guardian on the phone, National Vice President of PFN in the South-South, Archbishop Gospel Emmah Isong, stated: “We are all in tears. All I will tell you is that the trajectory of this occurrence is that Uma Ukpai was to preach at the PFN’s 40th anniversary thanksgiving coming up at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, on October 23, at 2:00 p.m., and as it is now, he was the only guest speaker in that meeting.

“As it is now, maybe we have to look for Papa Adeboye, or National President of PFN himself, Dr. Francis Wale Oke, or one of us will step in to speak. But of course, come October 23, at the Redemption Camp, everyone will gather for the PFN’s 40th anniversary thanksgiving, and will be talking much more of the death of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, as one of the events that has taken place in this auspicious season.”
