The Imo State First Lady has commended Joseph’s Pot, one of Owerri’s foremost culinary establishments, for its role in projecting the state’s hospitality culture and cuisine to international audiences.

The recognition came on 29 September 2025, when the management of Joseph’s Pot, led by Chief Executive Officer, Mr Joseph Obasi, popularly known as CruisewithJoe, paid a courtesy visit to the First Lady’s office in Owerri.

During the visit, the team presented the First Lady with a bowl of Ofe Owerri, the restaurant’s signature dish that reflects the warmth and culinary heritage of the Owerri people. The presentation was described as a symbol of pride in the state’s cultural identity and its rich food tradition.

The First Lady praised Joseph’s Pot for its contribution to Imo’s growing hospitality and tourism sector, highlighting its creativity, consistency, and commitment to quality.
