Makinde, in his address, described the project as a symbol of progress and renewal for Oyo State.
Speaker of the House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, described Makinde as “the engineer of modern Oyo State,” pledging continued legislative support for the government’s developmental agenda.
MEANWHILE, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, yesterday, called for an improved welfare package for medical practitioners.
Obi gave the charge during the donation of N10 million to the Oyo State College of Nursing, Ibadan, Oyo State.
He said that his donation to the college was a token of his commitment to supporting a healthy society and also serves as a mark of support to the health sector, urging the nursing students to remain focused, dedicated and resilient in their choice of duty.
