Dr. Emoh vows expanded education interventions across Anambra

Founder of Offor Global Network, Dr Stan Emoh,

For easing the burden of school fees for more than 1,500 students across Anambra State and his exceptional contribution to the growth of education, the founder of Offor Global Network, Dr Stan Emoh, has received an award of recognition.

The honour was presented at the 2025 Anambra State Post Primary Schools Service Commission (PPSSC) Cultural Carnival.

The event, themed “Sustaining Culture and Traditions in Anambra State,” showcased the rich cultural diversity, talents and innovations within the educational sector. Dr Emoh offset the school fees of all students in Community High School, Nsugbe; Community Primary School, Nsugbe; and Central School, Nsugbe, covering the first, second and third terms of a complete academic year.

Speaking at the event, the Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, described Dr Stan Emoh as “a visionary whose generosity and leadership continue to inspire a new generation of learners and community builders.”

The education commissioner noted that Dr Emoh’s support has not only relieved parents of financial burdens but has also encouraged students to remain focused and dedicated to their studies.

According to her, the intervention by Offor Global Network has helped to bridge critical gaps in access to education, especially for students from low-income families who might otherwise have been forced to drop out of school. She stressed that such support plays a vital role in strengthening the state’s human capital development and aligns with the government’s broader agenda of improving educational outcomes at the post-primary level.

Prof. Chuma-Udeh further noted that the impact of Dr Emoh’s contributions goes beyond financial assistance, as it has fostered a culture of hope, responsibility and excellence among beneficiaries.

She said that by easing economic pressures on families, the initiative has enabled students to concentrate fully on their academic pursuits while also participating actively in extracurricular and cultural activities that enhance holistic development.

The commissioner also used the occasion to call on other private individuals, corporate organisations and philanthropists to emulate Dr Emoh’s example by investing in education. She emphasised that sustainable progress in the sector requires collaborative efforts between government and non-state actors, adding that public-private partnerships remain key to transforming the education landscape in Anambra State.

The event also featured a cultural carnival and talent fair exhibition.

In his response, Dr Emoh expressed appreciation to the state government and the PPSSC for the recognition, describing it as a motivation to do more.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education and youth empowerment, pledging that Offor Global Network would continue to expand its interventions aimed at ensuring that no child is denied education due to financial constraints.
