Rivers Rep slams Bwala over comments on Wike
The Rivers State Governor, Fubara, has assured residents that the challenges currently facing the state are manageable and surmountable, attributing confidence in overcoming them to divine guidance.

Fubara made the remarks during the 2026 Holy Ghost Rally organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium yesterday.

Speaking through his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, the governor stated that with God on their side, the state’s problems can be effectively addressed.

“With the Almighty God on our side, our challenges are surmountable and our future remains hopeful. The theme of this year’s rally, ‘The All-Sufficient God,’ is both timely and reassuring,” Fubara said.

In a related development, member of the House of Representatives, Solomon Bob, has flayed President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, over his recent remarks on the political crisis in Rivers State.

While accusing Bwala of misrepresenting facts and speaking beyond the limits of his official mandate, the lawmaker said the presidential aide comment on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, was misleading and ill-judged.

He described Bwala as an attention-seeking operator punching above his weight and accused him of distorting facts with what he termed a malicious narrative.

Bob, who represents Abua/Odual and Ahoada East Federal Constituency of Rivers State, was reacting to comments made by Bwala during a television programme on Friday.
