Like every young man, Abuja-based teenage sensation, Jason Chibuike Ezinkwo, has set a target for
himself.
A student of Children of Wisdom International School, Kuje, Abuja, Ezinkwo dream of becoming a professional footballer and play for elite clubs such as Real Madrid and Arsenal, two clubs he passionately supports off the field. He wants to step into the shoes of his football idol, Kylian Mbappe, whose confidence, speed, and excellence continue to inspire him.
Ezinkwo’s journey into the exciting world of football started brightly. He is currently the captain of Rulers Football Club, Kuje, Abuja, an indigenous team dedicated to scouting and training young boys and girls into becoming very good footballers.
As team captain, Ezinkwo exemplifies teamwork, leadership, and determination, and is rapidly
establishing himself as one of Nigeria’s most promising young football talents.
The young Ezinkwo recently featured in a National U-13 football tournament, where his outstanding performance earned him the Best Player award. His game is defined by strength, skill, and versatility.
Playing comfortably with both feet, Ezinkwo demonstrates remarkable balance and control in attacking situations. His aerial ability further distinguishes him, as his timing and heading skills make him a constant threat in front of goal.
These qualities, combined with his natural instincts as a striker, set him apart among his peers.
Beyond Ezinkwo’s technical attributes, his coach, Ronald Aigbovbiosa, is full of praises for his character. “He is dedicated, disciplined, and eager to learn,” Aigbovbiosa told The Guardian. “These traits reflect maturity beyond his young age.”

Ezinkwo is currently an SS2 pupil of Children of Wisdom International School, Kuje, Abuja, serving as the school’s Health Prefect, a role that reflects his sense of responsibility and commitment to the wellbeing of others.
