President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu as Managing Director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), Abuja.
SHESTCO is a federal research institution mandated to drive scientific and technological innovation, including the operation of Nigeria’s nuclear research facility.
The President also appointed Engr. Adesayo Olusegun Michael as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA).
In addition, Tinubu named members of the NEMSA board as follows: Engr. Aliyu Abdulazeez, Executive Director (Technical); Ikechi Clara Nwosu, Chairman (South-East); Zubair Abdur’rauf Idris, Member; Igba Elizabeth, Member (North-Central); Sani Alhaji Shehu, Member (North-East); Adeyemi Adetunji, Member (South-West); Engr. Emmanuel Eneji Nkpe, Member (South-South); and Engr. Charles Ogbonna Asogwa, Member (South-East).
The President further nominated Amina Gamawa (Bauchi) and Abdullahi Muktar (Kaduna) as commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
Both nominations have been forwarded to the Senate for confirmation.
