Staff commend Alo for welfare initiatives

Prophet Sam Olu Alo

Some beneficiaries of the philanthropic gestures of Prophet Sam Olu Alo have commended the cleric for his kindness, generosity and commitment to staff welfare.

The commendation followed his recent sponsorship of three staff members of Adamimogo FM on foreign trips aimed at personal and spiritual development.

A statement by the Head of Media Group, Toyin Anisulowo, said the cleric, who is the Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide and Founder of Adamimogo Communications Limited, sponsored three members of staff of the Adamimogo broadcast network on religious pilgrimages to key holy sites in the Middle East.

According to the statement, the beneficiaries include the General Manager of Adamimogo 93.1 FM, Lekki, Mr Dele Adeyanju (aka Agbaletu); the General Manager of Adamimogo 105.1 FM, Ibadan, Joshua Adegbite; the General Manager of Adamimogo 107.7 FM, Ido Ekiti, Bayo Babalola; and Pastor Moses Borode of Ido Ekiti. Anisulowo also noted that he had previously been sponsored by the cleric to three different countries.

Another staff member of Adamimogo 107.7 FM, Ido Ekiti, Jamiu Abolore, who co-hosts an inter-faith programme on the station, was sponsored on a pilgrimage to Mecca.

Anisulowo said the trips provided the beneficiaries with the opportunity to visit historic locations previously known to them through biblical accounts, describing the journeys as spiritually uplifting and educational.

Abolore, who undertook the lesser hajj, expressed appreciation for the opportunity, noting that he did not expect to embark on the pilgrimage at this time.

The statement added that Prophet Alo has sponsored several other staff members on similar trips in the past, including two management staff from Lagos, Oluyemi Oyeniran (Oskool) and Olusola Morris Green, as well as Fortune Omosola from Ibadan.

Recently, the cleric also sponsored two sports broadcasters on the Adamimogo network, Ayo Adekeye from the Lagos station and Dayo Olujobi from the Ibadan station, on a trip to Morocco for live coverage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Earlier in 2024, he sponsored the General Manager of Adamimogo 93.1 FM, Lagos, Sam Olugbeminiyi, on a holiday visit to South Africa to explore the country’s history and apartheid legacy.

Beyond travel sponsorships, the statement said the cleric has supported staff and members of the public through housing assistance, vehicle donations and educational sponsorships for orphans. He was also reported to have extended assistance to the widow of a late Ekiti-based reporter and offered to sponsor the education of the reporter’s son up to university level.

The statement further noted that Prophet Alo is making efforts to establish a hospital to provide medical services, while continuing to sponsor free medical outreach programmes for the less privileged.

According to Anisulowo, the cleric does not draw a salary or financial benefits from Adamimogo radio, describing his leadership as driven by service and commitment to the welfare and growth of others.
