The Grand Patron of the City Boy Movement, Seyi Tinubu, has commenced the nationwide distribution of Fasting Relief Packages across the 36 states of Nigeria in observance of the Ramadan and Lent seasons.
The initiative, according to organisers, is aimed at supporting citizens during the holy periods of prayer, reflection and devotion, while promoting unity across religious and regional lines.
Tinubu said the programme reflects his continued commitment to fostering solidarity, compassion and national cohesion among Nigerians.
In a statement issued by the City Boy Movement spokesperson, Oluwatosin Shoga, the rollout was described as a practical demonstration of leadership anchored in service and unity.
“The seasons of Ramadan and Lent remind us of the values that bind us as a nation — sacrifice, generosity and compassion. Through this nationwide outreach, we are reinforcing our belief that progress is strongest when communities stand together in mutual support,” the statement said.
Shoga explained that the Fasting Relief Packages are being distributed through coordinated efforts of the movement’s state chapters to ensure wide coverage and effective grassroots engagement. He noted that the outreach spans both urban and rural communities, reinforcing the group’s mission of civic responsibility and collective progress.
According to him, the initiative also underscores the movement’s continued advocacy for youth engagement, community development and inclusive national growth.
“City Boy remains committed to advancing hope and opportunity for every citizen through purposeful action, civic engagement and community-driven initiatives across Nigeria,” he added.
