Dansol High School, also known as Dansol Christian Mission, celebrated its Founders Day, its 30th Year Anniversary with the theme: “Far Beyond” in Lagos recently.

Speaking, the institution’s Executive Director, Mrs. Omotara Olanitori, commended the founder and President, Dansol Christian Mission, Mrs. Adunola Akinyemiju, for laying a solid foundation for the school that has been raising godly children for this generation.

During the occasion, awards were given to the winners of the anniversary essay competition titled: “How can our school, community, students, staff and alumni work effectively to build a legacy that will exceedingly and abundantly influence the next generation of Nigerian leaders”.

In the nursery and primary category, Esther Ngharamike came first, followed by Obaloluwa Olanitori while Elizabeth Oyerinde took the third position.

In the junior high school category, Oreoluwa Sowunmi came tops, while Oluwadunmininu Fadipe and Victoria Durojaiye came second and third. David Durojaiye emerged the best in the Senior category; Mayowa Ojomo, the first runner up while Olumide Olaiya was the second runner up.

According to Olanitori, all the students who won their categories will not pay the third term tuition, while second position will pay 50 per cent and third position will pay 25 per cent.

The Principal, who doubles as acting Director, Dansol Schools, ‘Tsola Oladosu, disclosed that the school also runs Dansol Christian Mission, which focuses on building people for Christ, raising students that are excellent in their souls.

“Dansol is a Christian school but we have people of other faiths here. We have people that believe in the vision of Dansol and they bring their children and we are glad to help them; we partner with them in raising their children to become responsible in life.

“We do a lot of training for our teachers and we have excellent academic programmes for our students. We discipline our students when they err but do not throw them away. We blend biblical truths with academic excellence and we balance our teaching of physics and chemistry. We teach our students to be a total child in partnership with their parents.”
