The Chairman, Yewa North Local Council, Ogun State, Dr. Olusola Akinbode, has presented a N10.48 billion 2026 budget to the legislative council for approval.

Speaking at the Odebiyi Legislative Chamber, Ayetoro, the chairman, who tagged the presentation, ‘Budget of Consolidation,’ said it consists of N5.729 billion as recurrent and N5.379 billion as capital expenditures.

In a statement by the Zonal Information Officer of YNLG, Lateef Akintunde, the chairman highlighted that the appropriation of N572.949 million would be for personnel cost; N4.341 billion for CRFC, while N187.130m is for overhead cost.

On the funding of the 2026 budget, the chairman said an estimated N144.146 million would be generated through Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), N40 million from allocation from the state government account, while N6.313 billion would be from statutory allocation from the federation account.
