TURKEY
Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray)
Victor Osimhen scored a goal and set up another to inspire Galatasaray to a 3-1 victory over Alanyaspor in a Turkish Super Lig encounter on Saturday.
The Nigerian international rendered an assist in the 58th minute, setting up Lucas Torreira for Galatasaray’s second goal.
The 27-year-old thereafter made the points safe for Gala in the 83rd minute, scoring after an error by Alanyaspor goalkeeper Paulo Victor before coming off for Mauro Icardi three minutes later.
Osimhen has so far scored 10 goals and contributed four assists in 16 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds this season.
Paul Onuachu, Chibuike Nwaiwu (Trabzonspor)
The Nigerian duo of Paul Onuachu and Chibuike Nwaiwu scored to help Trabzonspor secure a 3-1 victory against Faith Karagümrük in a Turkish Super Lig game on Friday.
Onuachu’s 20th-minute header from Ozan Tufan’s cross saw the Super Eagles
striker score for the seventh consecutive league game, while defender Nwaiwu netted a brace with Onuachu assisting him to get his second goal.
Ibrahim Olawoyin, Adedire Mebude (Caykur Rizespor)
Ibrahim Olawoyin and Adedire Mebude respectively bagged their first assist and goal of the 2025/26 Turkish Super Lig season on Saturday to help Caykur Rizespor secure a 3-0 win against Kasimpasa.

PORTUGAL

On Friday, Terem Moffi opened his goal account for FC Porto, netting for the first time since joining the Portuguese club on loan from OGC Nice of France during the January transfer window.
The Super Eagles forward, after replacing Deniz Gul on 62 minutes, scored in the 98th minute of Porto’s 3-1 Primeira Liga win over Arouca, sliding in to finish a well-delivered cross from William Gomes.
ENGLAND
Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukwueze (Fulham)
Alex Iwobi scored a goal on Sunday to celebrate the 250th start of his Premier League career as Fulham edged relegation-threatened Tottenham Hotspur 2–1 at Craven Cottage.
Just like he was last weekend when he scored in a 3-2 win over Sunderland, Iwobi was once again decisive, with his 34th-minute goal against Tottenham helping to keep Fulham’s European dreams alive.
His fourth league goal of the season and his second in consecutive matches came in spectacular fashion. After a clever exchange of passes between Harry Wilson and Iwobi had carved open the Tottenham defence on the edge of the box, the Nigerian international expertly side-footed the ball calmly beyond goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario to make it 2–0.
Iwobi was taken off for Jorge Cuenca in the 90th minute, his fellow compatriot, Samuel Chukwueze, replaced Wilson on 68 minutes, while Calvin Bassey saw full action despite being issued a yellow card in the 66th minute.
Ola Aina, Taiwo Awoniyi (Nottingham Forest)
The Nigerian duo of Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi tasted defeat once again after relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest lost 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion in a Premier League fixture on Sunday.
Awoniyi, who has found it difficult to maintain a starting shirt this season, was an 83rd-minute substitute for Igor Jesus, while Aina came off for Dan Ndoye in the 82nd minute.
Tolu Arokodare (Wolves)
Despite suffering racist abuse following his penalty miss in a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend, Tolu Arokodare saw Premier League action for bottom club Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday.
This time around, though, the lanky Nigerian striker had reasons to smile as Wolves defeated title-chasing Aston Villa 2-0 at the Molineux with Arokodare replacing Jean-Ricner Bellegarde on 81 minutes.
Frank Onyeka (Coventry City)
Frank Onyeka saw action for 55 minutes on Saturday when runaway Sky Bet Championship leaders, Coventry City, secured yet another victory.
On this occasion, Nigerian midfielder Onyeka came off for Victor Torp as Coventry moved closer to securing an automatic promotion into the Premier League after defeating Stoke City 2-1.
SPAIN
Ademola Lookman (Atlético Madrid)
Ademola Lookman was substituted for eventual goalscorer, Julian Alvarez, in the 46th minute on Saturday when Atlético Madrid travelled away to beat Real Oviedo 1-0 in a Spanish La Liga game.
Akor Adams, Chidera Ejuke (Sevilla)
Akor Adams was on for the whole duration of Sunday’s La Liga match, which saw Sevilla bounce back from two goals behind to snatch a 2-2 draw with Real Betis, while fellow Nigerian international, Chidera Ejuke, replaced Jose Angel Carmona in the 46th minute.
Umar Sadiq (Valencia)
Umar Sadiq played a decisive role as Valencia edged closer to retaining their La Liga status this season with a 1-0 win over Osasuna on Sunday, as the Super Eagles forward featured for 90 minutes before coming off for Hugo Duro.
The Nigerian international, after being tripped by Sergio Herrera in the 18-yard box, helped Valencia to earn the penalty that was converted by Largie Ramazani in the 67th minute.
FRANCE
Moses Simon (Paris FC)
Moses Simon came off for Alimami Gory Paris FC in the 80th minute of Sunday’s French Ligue 1 match, which saw 10-man Paris FC move eight points clear of the relegation zone, following a 1-0 win against OGC Nice.
Tochukwu Nnadi (Olympique Marseille)
Tochukwu Nnadi made a victorious debut in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday as Olympique Marseille secured a dramatic 3-2 comeback win against Olympique Lyon.
The Nigerian international, who joined Marseille from Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Zulte Waregem during the January transfer window, came on as a 90th-minute substitute for Mason Greenwood.
