Renowned football agent and international brand expert, Dr Drew Uyi, has congratulated Engr. Abasi Braimah on his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Hungary, expressing confidence that his posting would strengthen trade, sports, technology, and cultural exchanges between the two nations.
Dr. Uyi praised Braimah, a native of Edo North and former member of the House of Representatives, for his dedication to public service and leadership.
In a goodwill message, Uyi described the ambassadorial role as a well-deserved recognition of Braimah’s contributions to the country, calling it a significant milestone for him, his family, and associates.
“Your appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Hungary is a proud moment not only for your family and associates but also for our nation. It reflects the trust placed in your experience, integrity, and commitment to representing Nigeria with dignity on the global stage,” he said.

Dr. Uyi also commended President Bola Tinubu for the appointment and wished the ambassador success in his new role.

Prior to his ambassadorial nomination, Braimah served in the House of Representatives during the 6th National Assembly, where he chaired the House Committee on Privatisation and Commercialisation, focusing on economic reforms and oversight of government enterprises.
