The Omniverse Africa Summit 3.0 is set to spotlight the enabling infrastructure shaping Africa’s digital and creative economy, as it convenes some of the continent’s most influential voices in technology, entrepreneurship and the creative industries this June in Lagos.
Themed “Connected Future: Synergy for Impact,” the four-day summit will hold from June 2 to 5, 2026, at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts (National Theatre), Iganmu, Lagos, bringing together policymakers, investors, founders and creatives to drive collaboration, innovation and capital flow across Africa.
Organisers said the summit, now in its third edition, has grown into a high-impact platform advancing digital transformation and enterprise development on the continent. Since inception, it has attracted over 30,000 participants from more than 20 countries, with over 180 speakers and 80 partners spanning government, private sector, academia and development institutions.
They added that the platform has facilitated strategic partnerships, investment engagements and talent development, including more than 3,000 job matches through its Career Centre initiative.
According to the organisers, the 2026 edition reflects a strong commitment to building partnerships, strengthening talent pipelines and supporting the infrastructure required to accelerate Africa’s digital and creative sectors.
The summit is backed by a coalition of international and local partners, including the European Union, German Cooperation (GIZ), MTN Group, IHS Towers, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and key Nigerian government agencies, among others.
A multi-track programme has been outlined for the event, featuring digital transformation sessions, exhibitions, deal rooms for investment negotiations, and roundtables aimed at shaping policy and industry outcomes. Other highlights include a Career Centre for talent matching, creative and gaming showcases, and immersive experience zones.
Participants expected at the summit include government officials, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, academics, students, media professionals and global development partners.
The organisers noted that beyond being a conference, the Omniverse Africa Summit serves as a continental platform designed to catalyse innovation, unlock investment opportunities and strengthen Africa’s position in the global digital and creative economy.
“The Omniverse Africa Summit is a global facing platform that brings together the key actors shaping Africa’s digital and creative economy, from government and investors to founders, talent, and industry leaders. With Summit 3.0, we are raising the bar by creating a space where ideas translate into partnerships, capital flows, and real opportunities that drive impact across the continent and beyond,” Co Convener, Omniverse Africa, Charles Emembolu said.
A representative from the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, Feyisayo Alayande adds: “Lagos is proud to host the Omniverse Africa Summit as a leading hub for innovation, enterprise, and talent, not just for Nigeria, but for Africa.
Through the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, we are supporting a platform that connects skills to opportunity at scale, empowers youth, and drives inclusive innovation.
