Akinola, Osa-oni, others pay tribute to late Bishop Grace Dauji

Bishop Grace Dauji

Admonish Christians to emulate her
The remains of the General Overseer, Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church Worldwide, Bishop Chioma Grace Dauji, were laid to rest yesterday in Lagos.

President and Founding Pastor-General, Rhema Christian Church & Tower Int’l, Archbishop Taiwo Akinola, while speaking at the funeral service held at Shepherd Hill, Obanikoro, Lagos, admonished Nigerians to reflect on the life of the late bishop and remember that eternity is also beckoning for them.

He said that the body of Christ would miss her commitment and never forget her ruggedness of faith, humility and how she was devoted to service.

Also, Presiding Bishop of Vineyard Christian Ministry, Archbishop John Osa-Oni, said Nigerians should emulate the life of the bishop by impacting the lives of others and staying grounded in things that matter.

Osa-Oni described the late bishop as a fantastic woman of God, an embodiment of peace and joy, who was always reaching out to the needy.

The son of the late bishop, Uchenna Obi, called her exit an unbearable loss. He said she was his spiritual counsellor, business partner, and confidant.

He, however, charged Christians to continue to be motivated for the service of God.

At the event, attended by many dignitaries, tributes and encomiums were showered on the late philanthropist and stalwart of the faith by those whose lives she had touched.
