The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is to hold its 15th convocation, graduating 24,575 students, including 56 inmates and 57 first-class graduates.
Speaking at a pre-convocation press conference yesterday in Abuja, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma,explained that while the convocation lecture holds on April 17, the main convocation would hold on April 18.
He revealed that the convocation lecture would be delivered by a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Kanu Agabi (SAN).
Uduma said the lecture with the theme, ‘Nigeria Against Corruption,’ would be chaired by a former Vice-Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof. Kabir Bala.
He gave the breakdown of graduates to include 17,474 undergraduates, 1,788 Postgraduate Diploma holders, 5,282 Master’s graduates, and 31 doctoral recipients.
