Future Innovators Festival

The Founder of In-Depth Computers (evolving into the Future Innovators Network), and Convener of the Future Innovators Festival, Nathaniel Adoyi, has received commendation at the Lagos Boy Child Initiative (LBCI) 2026 event, where he was recognised for his contributions to youth innovation and technology development.

Adoyi was honoured by the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, in recognition of his efforts in creating platforms that promote creativity, digital skills and entrepreneurship among young people in the state.

“Being recognized by the First Lady of Lagos State is both an honor and a motivation. The Future Innovators Festival 3.0 will build on our mission to raise the next generation of problem-solvers, innovators, and leaders, providing them with platforms to create solutions that positively impact society.”

The recognition, according to organisers, marks a key milestone for the Future Innovators initiative, which has continued to expand its footprint in youth empowerment and technology education across Lagos and beyond.

Building on this momentum, Adoyi announced that the Future Innovators Festival 3.0 will hold on Friday and Saturday, May 15–16, 2026, at the Supreme Education Foundation, Magodo, Lagos, beginning at 9:00 a.m. daily.

The two-day event is expected to feature innovation exhibitions, mentorship sessions, interactive workshops and networking opportunities aimed at exposing students to technology, entrepreneurship and creative problem-solving.

Organisers said the festival is designed to bring together students, parents, educators, industry leaders and development partners, with the goal of strengthening youth participation in innovation-driven learning and enterprise development.

Speaking on the recognition, Adoyi described the honour as both encouraging and motivating, adding that it reinforces the mission of the initiative to develop the next generation of problem-solvers and leaders.

He said the upcoming edition of the festival would further expand opportunities for young innovators to showcase ideas capable of addressing real societal challenges.

The programme will also include student competitions, innovation showcases and mentorship engagements with professionals across different sectors. Participants are expected to gain exposure to emerging technology trends, startup development pathways and practical skills for the modern economy.

Stakeholders in education, technology and youth development have been invited to support and participate in the event, which organisers say is aimed at deepening innovation culture among Nigerian youths.

The Future Innovators Network, according to its organisers, is committed to empowering young people through technology, education and innovation-driven programmes such as the annual festival, podcast series and tech challenge initiatives.
