Marking a significant step in redefining family-oriented lifestyle experiences in Lagos, the launch of Kidcity Lagos as a purpose-built edifice designed to transform how children learn, play, and experience the world around them, positions it as a leading destination for both leisure and developmental engagement.
“Kidcity was created from a deep desire to build a space where children can truly express themselves, learn through experience, and feel inspired every single day. The idea is to go beyond traditional play spaces to create an environment that nurtures creativity, confidence, and curiosity in a meaningful way. For us, Kidcity is about shaping experiences that children will carry with them for life, while also giving parents peace of mind and a place to feel connected,” the founder, Uloma Rochas Nwosu said, while speaking on the vision behind the initiative during the grand launch of Kidcity Lagos, which held recently, treating families, media, and notable guests to an immersive environment where creativity, education, and fun come together seamlessly.
Building on the success of Kidcity Abuja, which has been in operation for over seven years, Kidcity Lagos, which is a dynamic, multi-experience facility thoughtfully designed to cater to children between the ages of 1–15-year-old, brings an already proven and trusted concept to a broader audience.
With its unique blend of structured activities and free exploration, the facility is set to become a hub for memorable family moments and continuous learning.
Located in the heart of Victoria Island, the space features a wide range of interactive zones including creative studios, a kids’ kitchen, cinema, game rooms, music and dance studios, themed lodges, a library, spa, daycare, and dedicated learning spaces, all curated to inspire imagination, confidence, and discovery.
The launch event offered guests a firsthand experience of the Kidcity journey, with notable personalities such as Tolu Oniru-Demuren, Tobi Bakre, Simi Drey, Motun Adegoke, Ibijoke Shallangwa, Maria Chike Benjamin, Charles Born, Ify Okoye, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, and Stella Damascus in attendance.
While children explored the various activity zones under guided supervision, parents were taken on curated tours of the facility, experiencing the depth, structure, and intentionality behind the concept.
