Former member of the House of Representatives, Farah Dagogo, has hailed the recent judgment of the Supreme Court of Nigeria affirming the leadership of David Mark within the African Democratic Congress, saying the decision has boosted public confidence in the judiciary.

Dagogo, in his reaction, said the ruling by the apex court reinforces trust in Nigeria’s legal system and reflects what he described as the will of the people at a time of growing demand for political and economic reforms.

He noted that the outcome of the case has further strengthened the ADC’s position as a credible opposition platform ahead of the 2027 general elections, pointing to renewed public enthusiasm following the verdict.

According to him, the party now stands at a critical juncture, bearing the expectations of millions of Nigerians facing economic hardship, insecurity, and governance challenges.

He urged stakeholders within the party to close ranks and work towards building a united front capable of offering practical solutions to the country’s problems.

Dagogo also appreciated Nigerians for their support during the legal dispute, describing the Supreme Court ruling as both a legal victory and a call to responsibility.

Aspirants must place national interest above personal ambition,” he added.

He further urged the party to justify the confidence reposed in it, noting that reactions to the judgment underscore a growing desire among Nigerians for accountable leadership and meaningful change.
