English Women’s Soccer League (WSL) outfit, Brighton, has called on lovers of football to vote for Super Falcons’ goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, who has been nominated in the Save of the Season category in the WSL Awards.
The Nigerian international and former AFCON Goalkeeper of the Year has been consistently impressive since joining Albion last summer from Paris FC.
Nnadozie, 24, has kept six clean sheets in the WSL this season and two in Albion’s glorious run to their first FA Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley on May 31.
The club believes that no other goalkeeper in the WSL deserves the award more than Nnadozie, who is being challenged by Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar, Manchester City’s Ayaka Yamashita, Leicester City’s Janina Leitzig, Elene Lete and Anneke Borbe in the race for the crown.
