President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been declared winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election in Ogun State after polling a total of 322,485 votes.
He defeated his co-contestant, Stanley Osifo, who recorded zero votes across the state.
Announcing the result at the state collation centre on Friday, Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, who served as the APC presidential primary collation officer, said the outcome reflected the state’s unity and commitment to continuity of the Tinubu administration beyond 2027.
Abiodun disclosed that the total number of registered voters was 343,407, while accredited voters stood at 323,164, and total votes cast were 322,485.
The results were collated by returning officers from all 20 local government areas and presented to the state collation centre.
Breakdown of the results showed Tinubu securing overwhelming votes across all local governments, including Abeokuta North (26,043), Abeokuta South (24,948), Ado-Odo/Ota (39,100), Sagamu (19,319), Ifo (24,207), and others.
Stanley Osifo reportedly scored zero votes in all local government areas.
Declaring the result, Abiodun said:
