Tanzania High Commission in Abuja has stated that it will focus on strengthening ties at the forthcoming Food & Beverage West Africa (FAB) 2026 Exhibition, scheduled to commence tomorrow at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island in Lagos.
In a statement yesterday, the Commission, while describing Tanzania as one of East Africa’s fastest-growing economies and a leading producer of premium agricultural products, said that it would seize the opportunity of the exhibition to showcase its diverse food and beverage offerings.
The statement read in part: “Visitors are invited to explore the Tanzania Pavilion at Booth 3E06, Hall 3, where a rich selection of authentic Tanzanian products will be on display.
“The exhibition will feature some of Tanzania’s most sought-after products, including premium tea and coffee, fine wines, cashew nuts, spices, spreads and dips, as well as a variety of other value-added food and beverages.
“Renowned for their quality, unique flavours, and growing international appeal, these products reflect Tanzania’s commitment to agricultural excellence and value-chain development.
“Beyond product exhibitions, the Tanzania Pavilion will serve as a strategic platform for trade promotion and investment engagement.
“A delegation of Tanzanian private-sector companies and industry representatives will be present at the event to facilitate Business-to-Business meetings and explore partnerships with Nigerian and international buyers, distributors, importers, retailers, investors, and hospitality industry stakeholders.”
“The participation of the Tanzania High Commission aligns with ongoing efforts to strengthen economic diplomacy and deepen trade relations between Tanzania and Nigeria. It also underscores Tanzania’s commitment to expanding market access for its products and fostering mutually beneficial commercial partnerships across Africa, in line with the AfCFTA mandate.”
The Commission also stressed that FAB West Africa 2026 would present a unique opportunity for businesses seeking high-quality products, reliable suppliers, and new investment prospects within Tanzania’s vibrant agribusiness and food-processing sectors, assuring that visitors to the Tanzania Pavilion would gain first-hand insight into the country’s competitive advantages, export potential, and growing opportunities in food manufacturing, processing, packaging, and distribution.
“The Tanzania High Commission warmly invites business leaders, investors, importers, distributors, hospitality operators, and members of the public to visit Booth 3E06 in Hall 3 to discover the taste, quality, and business opportunities that Tanzania has to offer.
“Visit the Tanzania Pavilion at FAB West Africa 2026 and connect with Tanzanian producers, exporters, and business leaders shaping the future of African trade and agribusiness,” the statement added.
