Government officials, technology executives, regulators and other professionals are set to discuss practical strategies for enhancing Nigeria’s digital public infrastructure agenda, to strengthen governance efficiency, improve security and service delivery and drive economic growth.

The stakeholders will converge in Abuja on July 15, 2026, at the yearly IT Governance (ITGOV) Conference, to push this discussion, focusing on the theme: ‘Building Nigeria’s Digital Public Infrastructure for Economic Growth, Security and Governance Efficiency’.

The conference,, organised by Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Limited and powered by ManageEngine, comes at a time when the Federal Government is rolling out its Digital Public Infrastructure framework, deploying the Nigerian Data Exchange and integrating national identity systems across multiple sectors.

According to organisers, the focus has shifted from whether Nigeria should build digital public infrastructure to ensuring that the institutions responsible for delivering it are aligned, equipped and making informed decisions capable of supporting national development objectives.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Chief Executive Officer, Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Limited, Dr Emmanuel Ayoola, said the country has entered a decisive phase in its digital transformation journey.

The one-day programme will feature keynote addresses, fireside discussions and a panel session involving senior public sector officials, technology leaders and policy experts.

Ayoola said discussions are expected to focus on practical strategies for strengthening governance, enhancing security and improving service delivery through digital infrastructure.

He said the company’s longstanding work with institutions undergoing digital transformation has provided valuable insights into the governance, operational and technology challenges that must be addressed for digital public infrastructure to succeed.

Communications Manager, Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Limited, Abel Edoka, said the conference is designed to move beyond policy conversations and focus on implementation.

He noted that the event will provide decision-makers with an opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and explore practical solutions for building resilient and efficient digital systems capable of supporting economic growth and effective governance.
