The Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) has unveiled the 2026 edition of its Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, with the General Superintendent, Dr William Kumuyi, billed to lead the crusade from June 24.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja yesterday, the FCT State Overseer, Edison Daminabo, said this edition, themed “Christ’s Wonder-Working Power,” targets over 200,000 participants at its headquarters in Kado and Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
The cleric explained that the programme has grown from a Nigerian evangelical outreach into a global movement spanning Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Australia.
He described Kumuyi as a globally respected teacher, preacher and evangelist whose ministry had impacted lives through the message of salvation, healing and deliverance, adding that the crusade was first held in Abuja in 2021 before expanding to other parts of Nigeria and later to several countries.
According to him, “the primary focus of the crusade is salvation. While God heals the sick, delivers the oppressed and performs miracles, these are secondary to the central message of eternal life through Jesus Christ.”
He added that many people with serious health challenges and other difficult situations had testified to divine intervention during previous editions of the programme.
Kumuyi, he noted, is coming with the power of God that gives eternal life, miracles, and deliverance, and his preaching will impact those in the National Assembly and government, and bring development. The church is the foundation of the world, and nobody can tamper with it.”
Meanwhile, he explained that the 2026 Abuja crusade would begin on June 24 at the church’s cathedral grounds, while subsequent sessions from June 26 would move to the National Stadium to accommodate the expected large turnout.
The other features of the programme, he said, include evening crusades, ministers’ conferences and youth-focused events, adding that it will be broadcast globally to enable participants from different parts of the world to join virtually.
However, Daminabo expressed concern over the growing challenges facing societies around the world, including insecurity, economic hardship, hunger and conflicts, stressing that spiritual solutions remain essential in addressing such problems.
Nevertheless, he assured that the crusade would promote spiritual revival, contribute to national transformation and further position Nigeria as a centre of a rapidly expanding global Christian movement.
According to him, the church remains committed to promoting peace, moral values and national development through prayer and support for good governance. More so, “the church supports government by serving as a moral foundation, guiding leaders, praying for them and encouraging them to make the right decisions,” he said.
Daminabo said faith in God gives believers confidence and assurance of divine protection amid life’s challenges, stating that God’s power is greater than every human threat, including violence, insecurity and fear.
