House of Ajebo has announced the 13th edition of its flagship comedy and entertainment event, ‘Ajebo Unleashed‘.
Hosted by celebrated comedian and storyteller, Emeka Erem, popularly known as Ajebo, this year’s edition is themed ‘Love and Laughs’, a relatable exploration of the joys, heartbreaks, surprises and hilarious realities that come with the search for love.
The event, scheduled to hold on June 28, 2026, at the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, from 6pm, is powered by Vitel Wireless and Landmark Corporate Realty Limited.
According to the comedian, the event promises an evening of premium entertainment, laughter and shared experiences that will resonate with audiences from all walks of life.
He stated that the inspiration behind this year’s theme comes from a simple truth: everyone has a love story.
Whether it ends in happiness, heartbreak, disappointment or triumph, love remains one of the few experiences that connects people across cultures, backgrounds and generations.
Ajebo noted that this year’s edition of the fun fest will explore the lengths people go to find love, the lessons they learn along the way and the experiences that, despite being painful at the time, eventually become stories worth laughing about.
He assured that ‘Love And Laughs’ will be experienced in an ambience that creates an opportunity for people to connect and savour the beauty and essence of love.
”Love is one of the few things that every human being can relate to. We’ve all experienced the excitement, the confusion, the disappointment, the hope and sometimes the madness that comes with it. Many of the experiences we cry about today eventually become the stories we laugh about tomorrow. That’s the heart of ‘Love and Laughs’.
”This show is personal. I’ll be sharing some of my own experiences, observations and encounters, but in a way that allows people to see themselves through my lens. At the end of the day, love connects us, and laughter heals us. When you combine both, you create an experience that everyone can identify with,” he said.
With 12 successful editions in its belt, ‘Ajebo Unleashed’ has built a reputation for blending comedy with authentic storytelling, creating moments that are not only entertaining but deeply relatable.
This year’s edition continues in that rich tradition, creating a space where audiences can laugh at the awkward moments, celebrate the beautiful ones and reflect on the universal journey of finding connection and companionship.
