The candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the August 15 governorship election in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji has assured traders at Sabo market of good governance should he be elected as governor.
Oyebamiji informed the market men and women who trooped out to endorse him ahead of the gubernatorial contest on Thursday at Sabo market in Osogbo, that they would be part of his government.
He promised to deliver good governance to enhance trade and commerce in the state, adding that his administration, once given the mandate, would provide insurance scheme to the traders.
Oyebamiji, a former Commissioner for Finance in the state, donated the sum of N10 million to the traders, telling them that he had discussed with the market leaders and that their needs have been noted.
The APC candidate promised to make soft loans available to the market women and men, assuring them that their development and that of the market place is paramount to his bid to govern Osun.
“I won’t disappoint you by the grace of God. I have already discussed with our Iyalojas and Babalojas on what this Sabo market needs and I promise that once we are in power, we will see to it that we attend to these needs.
“You are going to enjoy during my administration,” he further assured the traders.
He concluded by expressing optimism of victory at the poll. He further informed the traders, “We won’t deveive you. You will be included in my government. We will run the government together. It is going to be inclusive government. I want to donate the sum of N10 million to Sabo market,” he stated.
The Director General of the AMBO Campaign Council, Wole Oke, said all the promises made by Oyebamiji would be delivered.
