PDP’s Adeleke receives INEC nomination form, hails Saraki

…Vows inclusive representation for Odo-Ogun

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly candidate for Odo-Ogun Constituency in Kwara State, Engr. Adebayo Adeleke, has pledged inclusive representation, youth empowerment and women-focused policies after receiving his Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form to contest the 2027 elections.

Adeleke, who expressed gratitude to former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and the leadership of the PDP at the state, local government and ward levels, described his nomination as a demonstration of the party’s confidence in his capacity to provide purposeful leadership for the constituency.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Ilorin, the PDP standard-bearer said his emergence symbolised a collective aspiration for a new direction in his Constituency.

He assured party members and supporters that no individual or group would be sidelined in the party’s quest for electoral success.

The Erin-Ile-born politician lamented years of inadequate representation and limited investment in human capital development in the constituency saying that the people deserve leadership that prioritises welfare and development.

He promised to pursue policies that would expand educational opportunities for young people, strengthen women’s economic participation, support local enterprises and create sustainable opportunities capable of improving the livelihoods of residents.

According to him: “effective representation must be people-centred, accessible and responsive to the needs and aspirations of every community within the constituency.

“My priority is to provide quality representation that gives every constituent a sense of belonging. We will pursue programmes that create opportunities for our youths, empower women, support local businesses and attract meaningful development to our communities,” Adeleke said.

He also pledged an issue-driven campaign rooted in integrity, accountability and service, while expressing confidence that sustained grassroots mobilisation and unity in the PDP would position the party for victory in the Odo-Ogun State Constituency election in 2027.

He urged party faithful’s and constituents to remain committed to the collective vision of building a more prosperous and inclusive future, stressing that the campaign would focus on practical solutions to the developmental challenges confronting the area.
