He was part of the assembly of Prophet Taiwo Ojo’s event at KICC CHATHAM, UK where he complemented his vocal delivery with enthusiasm and passion. Larry approached translating the tonal complexities of the Yoruba language the Prophet sang into rhythms by framing the tone as well as vocalizing the Yoruba phrase or proverb while playing it, and matching the exact melody of the song on the drum. How else can brilliance be defined if not with an expressive precision such as this?
One thing we can take out of his performance at the event is a balance between preserving the authenticity of Yoruba talking drum techniques and introducing creative innovations that appeal to modern global audiences as the UK is a mix of different nationalities and cultures. Ministering alongside Prophet Taiwo Ojo required his percussion to complement both the spiritual atmosphere and the musical presentation. But his
