Adeteye unveils MAA to deepen business, leadership conversations

Mabel Adeteye

Business, brand and executive communications strategist, Mabel Adeteye, has launched MAA Insight Room, a thought leadership platform aimed at fostering deeper conversations on business, branding, leadership and executive communications.

The initiative is designed to bring together professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders and emerging talents for practical discussions that move beyond conventional opinions to examine the thinking, judgment and decisions that shape successful business and career outcomes.

Speaking on the motivation behind the platform, Adeteye said the abundance of information available today has not necessarily translated into stronger thinking or better decision-making.

“We live in a time where people have access to more information, more opinions and more tools than ever before, but access does not automatically produce insight,” she said.

“The real advantage is no longer simply knowing more. It is being able to ask better questions, recognise what others may overlook and apply knowledge with judgment. The quality of our decisions will always depend on the quality of our thinking.”

She explained that MAA Insight Room was established to create a space for conversations that are often reduced to quick answers, generic advice or surface-level commentary.

According to her, the platform will feature regular live sessions drawing on her experience in business strategy, brand building, marketing, leadership and executive communications to explore the realities of building trusted brands, leading effectively, navigating professional growth and making sound decisions in increasingly complex environments.

Adeteye said the platform would also depart from the conventional thought leadership model by allowing participants to determine discussion topics through questions and issues submitted during registration.

“I do not want to build a room around what I assume people need. I want to hear what they are thinking about, what they are struggling to understand and the conversations they believe are not happening enough,” she said.

“The room is not only about sharing what I know. It is about creating a place where experience meets curiosity and where the questions from the audience can lead us into more useful and honest conversations.”

She described the launch as a continuation of her commitment to mentorship, knowledge sharing and professional development, noting that she has spent years leading teams, executing major brand and communications initiatives, advising organisations and leaders, training professionals and contributing to discussions on the future of branding, communications and leadership.

Adeteye, however, stressed that the platform is not intended to portray experience as a collection of perfect answers.

“Experience is valuable not because it makes you right all the time, but because it teaches you to recognise patterns, understand consequences and see decisions from more than one perspective,” she said.

“I have always believed that before you teach, you should first do the work. You should earn your convictions through experience, have enough wins to be credible, enough failures to be honest and enough perspective to know that you are still learning.”

She disclosed that MAA Insight Room would hold on the first Friday of every month at 7 p.m., focusing on themes such as business strategy, brand and executive communications, leadership, professional positioning, brand trust, marketing, organisational reputation and the realities of navigating work and business.

The inaugural session was held on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Speaking on the platform’s long-term vision, Adeteye said MAA Insight Room seeks to help people improve not only the answers they find but also the way they think about the questions they face.

“Some conversations end too quickly. Others never happen at all. MAA Insight Room is my response to both,” she said.

“This is a room for deeper thinking, practical insight and honest conversations that can help people see more clearly, make better decisions and move forward with greater confidence.”
