Nigerians now have expanded access to the latest technology innovations following the commissioning of ASUS’ first flagship experience store in West Africa, delivered in partnership with Konga. The new centre, located at Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos, was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh.

The flagship store is designed to give consumers direct access to authentic ASUS devices, including premium laptops, gaming systems, AI-powered PCs, and other cutting-edge innovations. A standout feature is an interactive digital display that allows visitors to explore ASUS technologies virtually before purchase, ensuring a more engaging and informed shopping experience. Every ASUS device purchased through the store or online on Konga comes with a one-year replacement warranty at no extra cost.

Commissioning the facility, Udeh described it as a defining milestone for Nigeria’s digital economy. He noted that the store represents more than a retail outlet—it is a symbol of confidence in Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem and a major step toward bridging the gap between global technology brands and Nigerian consumers.

The Minister emphasised that the Federal Government is committed to fostering stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors, partnerships he described as essential to achieving Nigeria’s ambition of building a one-trillion-dollar economy driven by enterprise and enabled by government.

Dr Udeh also paid tribute to Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of Zinox Group, acknowledging his decades of visionary entrepreneurship in shaping Nigeria’s technology ecosystem. He announced that Ekeh will champion the Federal Government’s Youth and Students in Innovation initiative, aimed at equipping young Nigerians with entrepreneurial and technology skills.
