For many of the thousands of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters who gathered in Osogbo for the party’s mega rally ahead of Saturday’s governorship election, the speeches and political messages were not the only attractions.
A high-tech mobile stage became one of the unexpected talking points of the event.

Provided by campaign management firm Monan Innovation, the first-of-its-kind automatic mobile stage arrived at the rally venue as a long trailer before being transformed into a fully functional platform for speeches and other campaign activities.

The transformation drew the attention and admiration of supporters and residents, offering a striking demonstration of how technology can be used to modernise conventional political campaign events.
Instead of the time-consuming process of constructing a fixed stage, the mobile unit was driven into the venue and converted into a campaign platform. Its mobility allows it to be transported from one location to another, potentially making campaign events more flexible and efficient.

The innovation formed part of the technological and event infrastructure deployed for the APC’s final major campaign rally in Osun, where party leaders rallied support for the governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.

The event attracted Senate President Godswill Akpabio, governors, former governors, national and state party leaders, as well as thousands of party supporters.
Beyond the spectacle, the deployment highlighted Monan Innovation’s growing role in combining campaign strategy, technology, logistics, voter engagement and event production.

The company’s involvement in Osun builds on its experience in political campaign management, including its work during the Ekiti governorship election, where it deployed campaign intelligence, voter research, field mobilisation, logistics and technology-driven communication.

In Ekiti, the firm also deployed mobile campaign trucks fitted with giant LED screens.

The units could be moved from one community to another and converted into functional campaign stages, enabling campaign teams to take their activities closer to voters.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Moji Yakubu, said its strategy is built around understanding voters and using data and technology to improve campaign decisions.

“Our approach is centred on understanding the mindset of the electorate and helping campaign teams make informed, data-driven decisions,” Yakubu said while discussing the company’s Ekiti operation.
The Osun rally provided another opportunity for the company to demonstrate that approach on a larger stage.

By converting a trailer into a fully equipped campaign platform, Monan Innovation brought an element of technology and mobility to a traditionally structured political rally.

For supporters at the venue, the transformation was more than a technical display. It became part of the experience of the rally, adding a modern dimension to the campaign as the APC entered the final stretch of its electioneering activities.

For Monan Innovation, the Osun assignment further expands its political campaign portfolio and reinforces its ambition to become a major player in Nigeria’s increasingly professional and technology-driven campaign industry.
