The Yobe State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka, has inaugurated the Baba Malam Wali (BMW) campaign coordinators for the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) ahead of the 2027 general elections in the state.

He said the 17 BMW coordinators are aimed to strengthen APC’s campaign structure at the grassroots for effective mobilisation of the electorate in the local council areas.

Press Secretary to Gadaka, Hajiya Sa’adatu Maina disclosed that disclosed yesterday in Damaturu that the BMW initiative is a strategic engagement platform targeting party supporters for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), Governor Mai Mala Buni, and the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali.

The appointment of coordinators for the local government areas demonstrated the party’s commitment to strengthening unity to win a resounding political victory at the 2027 polls.

The move followed the  recent reconciliation efforts of the party leadership to unanimously unite various political tendencies and aggrieved aspirants after the APC primaries in the state.

Governor Buni’s political decisions and loyalty have demonstrated a new chapter for Yobe’s forthcoming generation in the democratic process.

The political development is expected to bolster the APC’s internal cohesion and voters mobilization efforts across the state ahead of the 2027 general  elections in the country.
