2 Cor 3v5 Says: “We are not sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of the Lord.”
My name is Sister Helen Onwuekwu.
I joined The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in 2008 and my family and I are happy to be members.
It happened that we moved to the village and one day, my son went out, butcame back with a Chosen magazine. He gave it to me, and said we should be going to Chosen, but I told him that l cannot leave my church, but he persuaded me and eventually, we started. During the December period, the Chosen branch in my village had a programme, with the title:
“Only God Can Do This.” I went to the crusade and truly, l heard the undiluted word of God. In the course of the pastor’s prayer that day, he was always mentioning the God of Chosen and the God of Pastor Lazarus Muoka. Before that day, l was in the dream, and we were in a queue to be selected for work and the man in charge picked all the people in my front, but when it got to my turn, he bypassed me and picked the person behind me. I havea secondary school certificate, yet l was not picked; the people picked for the work were those with lesser qualifications. So, l began to cry, the man said Pastor Lazarus Muoka is the only one that can give me job. So, when the pastor in that programme was mentioning ‘the God of Pastor Lazarus Muoka,’ he built my interest on that God of Pastor Lazarus Muoka.
At the end of the service that day, the pastor called all the new comers, and l went to meet him and asked:“how l would see Pastor Lazarus Muoka?” The pastor asked me if there wereany problems and l told him that l dreamt where l was told that Pastor Lazarus Muokais the only one that can give me a job. The pastor said: ‘My sister you cannot see him now because he is in Lagos’ and I felt bad. He continued, “start by working in the church there and you will see him. I replied: “Work in the church! Who will pay me? The pastor said the God that sent me here, will be the one to pay you.
Eventually, l went home; later I started to work in the church as the branch pastor counselled. That work afforded me the opportunity to see the picture of G.O. in the Calendar/Almanac of the church. So, when I got home one fateful day, l saw the G.O. in my dream. I went to him and said, “Sir, l need work and I want also to get a house. G.O laughed at me and suddenly, l woke up.
One day, there was a crusade in Benin and I was there, in the crusade. I saw the woman l lived with when I was a small girl, she said they have been searching for me, that her son came from overseas and brought something for me. She gave me the envelope containing some money, after the crusade, I followed the woman home and she gave me other packages, including fridge, stabiliser and handset. So, the miracle has started. P-r-a-i-s-e, the Lord!
Meanwhile, my son was in Auchi Polytechnic, and we both engaged in menial farm work to pay his school fees. Suddenly, my son said he would not join me to do the farm work again, but preferred any other menial job. I encouraged him that he must finish his education. I had to take the bull by the horn and came to Lagos and stayed with my sister.
God did it in such a way that I started work with LAWMA, from there, l was able to send money to that my son to complete his tertiary education. God helping us, today, he has graduated from school. Then, my daughter finished her own secondary school and got admission into a polytechnic, but for lack of fund, she opted to work with me at LAWMA. One day, after sweeping the bus-stop assigned to her, she sat down there and, a man, apasserby saw her and asked: “young girl, what are you doing here?’’ My daughter said she was doing her work to meet her needs, that she got admission, but has no money to fund her education. The man told her to stop the work and instructed the supervisor to bring her to the office, where he was working. When she got to the man’s office, the man asked how much she was paid, which she told him. The man opened a bank account for her and paid in some money into it, and also placed my daughter on a scholarship.
Now, my daughter has finished her education, studying up to a master’s degree. She is also married. P-r-a-i-s-e, the Lord!
For my son, my brother has facilitated his trip to Italy, and now he has got his papers. He is also married and that house I begged my G.O. that I needed in the dream, my son has built it for me. He built a two-storey house for me. P-r-a-i-s-e, the Lord!
Note, as at today, l attend the Lord’s Chosen branchat Maryland, Lagos. In my branch; l am a cleaner and also arrange chairs for services. God of Chosen is great. May His name be highly exalted in Jesus’ name … Amen!
I pray for our G.O. and wish all members of Chosen Worldwide, heaven at last in Jesus’ name…amen!
