After years of building a catalogue of songs, albums and collaborating with artistes across the music scene, Nigerian recording artiste Ajayi Solomon, known as Specdo, is preparing for a new chapter in his career.
The artiste is set to return with fresh music in 2026, beginning with a new single titled Specdo DaBoy scheduled for release in September.
The single will introduce what his team describes as the Specdo 2026 New Era, a broader rebranding campaign designed to reconnect the artiste with his existing audience while presenting a refreshed creative identity.
The September release will be followed by a new album in November 2026, making the period a significant return to active music releases for the artiste.
Specdo has previously released multiple songs and albums and worked with notable artistes. His catalogue of music and videos has continued to provide a link to his previous era as he prepares to introduce new material.
The forthcoming project is being managed by TMY Empire, with Zentharon Worldwide handling distribution of the new music.
Beyond the music itself, the 2026 campaign will include a wider media and promotional rollout, with newspaper features, television appearances, interviews, digital campaigns and other activities planned around the release.
Specdo also enters the new era with an established online audience, including more than 200,000 followers on Instagram, tens of thousands of followers on TikTok and Facebook, and more than 10,000 subscribers on YouTube.
The team is expected to gradually unveil more details about the November album following the release of “Specdo DaBoy.”
For Specdo, the September single represents more than a new release. It marks the opening of a new phase in his musical journey.
Specdo DaBoy arrives in September, with the full album scheduled for November 2026.
