Projects boss for NASS victory

The media adviser to the Ilorin East and South federal constituency 2027 hopeful in Kwara State, Abdulwaheed Olamilekan Sulaiman has declared that his boss, Abdulquawiy Olododo is the best for the area.

He also commended The Guardian Newspapers for its fearless analytical contents, urging the management to maintain the tempo beyond the presence.

Olalekan disclosed these in Ilorin, the state capital during his visit to The Guardian Newspaper office on Murtala way where he fielded questions from selected newsmen.

Olododo’s aide listed several human capital empowerment programmes the politician had engaged in ever before declaring his political ambition.

According to him: “i am not sure that Olododo had the ambition to represent his constituency when he was alleviating the poverty of his people. He did those offer from his pure and genuine love and considerations for his constituents.”

He posited that his preferred candidate has been an employer of labour since he concluded his National Youth Service with the creation of his Heart and capital agricultural firm to encourage the youths into farming.

“During the period, Olododo encouraged the youths to secure farmlands through his assistance as well as helped them to dispose the produce afterwards. He was clean through the dealings, he never defrauded any beneficiaries. Today, they all remembered and want him to represent them,” he stated.

“He is coming into the political space purposely and largely because of the youths. As young as Olododo is, he is guarded by the elders and leaders, both in politics and communities in his constituency,” he added.

He recalled that, Olododo, as the former General Manager of Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP), ensured that entrepreneurs got access to grants and loans to scale their businesses.

Olaleken added: “as commissioner for works, he ensured that interlocking road projects were scattered across the nooks and cranies of Ilorin to make access roads accessible.

“The same was extended to the houses of traditional title holders in the state capital,” he added, urging Kwarans to give Olododo their mandates in 2027.

Meanwhile, the social commentator also commended the management of the Guardian Newspaper for encouraging fearless media disposition in its reporters, noting that the Newspaper’s content had for years served as pathway for modern journalism.

“In journalism today, elites and some of us at the third larder see The Guardian Newspaper as a genuine radar and pathway to move on.

“In politics, economy, sports and general social reportage, the language simplicity and genuine commitment to nation building by The Guardian Newspaper is unequal and unmatched. I urge the management to continue the trend,” he encouraged.
