3SC (Shooting Stars) will face Inter Lagos in the opening game of the 2026/2027 Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) on Friday.

The game, a Southwest derby, will be held at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan. It is Inter Lagos’ first game in the NPFL since their promotion from the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season.

To ensure they are worthy for the league, the club refreshed their squad with new signings, namely Gafar Ojo, Emminence Naingba, Jamiu Arowolo, Kehinde Salami, Kehinde Moses, Friday Cornelius, Bala Favour, Semiu Adegboyega and Tosin Oshomo.

The club recently announced PARIPESA as official betting partner for the 2026/27 NPFL season. The partner’s logo will be emblazoned on the club’s jersey for the season.

For 3SC, the club have shown readiness for the new season by hiring former Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf, who said it is great to be with the Ibadan side.

Yusuf has also worked with Rangers, Kano Pillars, and Nasarawa United. He’s expected to bring strong leadership, tactical expertise and a winning mentality to the Oluyole Warriors.

Their squad list includes goalkeeper Monsoor. Forwards are Godgift, Azeez, Lucky, Mustapha, Damilare, Adams, and Sochima. The midfielders are Taheer, Raheem, Promise, Dawari, T.Azeez, and Amadou’

In defence, 3SC have Steven, Damilola, Falke, Akala, Sodiq, Justice, Nweke, Qamar, Issa, Otaniyi, Olade, Jamiu, Saviour, Godspower, Gbolagade, Dalhatu, Desmond, Aule, Os Bolu, Olajobi, and Chikamso.

The club recently announced Chowdeck as Headline Sponsor for the 2026/27 NPFL season and Bovas as Official Sleeve Sponsor for the 2026/27 season.

Tickets for the clash can be purchased for N500 for regular, N2000 for VIP, and N10,000 for VVIP.
