Ahead of the January 2027 presidential election, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has launched its grassroots mobilisation campaign in Taraba State, calling on residents to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
According to the Grand Patron of the group, Government Ekpemupolo, popular as Tompolo, the president’s reforms require more time to consolidate and deliver greater benefits to Nigerians.
Ekpemupolo, who was represented at the launch of the campaign in Jalingo by Kestin Pondi, said Taraba was thriving because Tinubu’s good reforms were moving it forward, and that another term would ensure that civil servants continue to receive their salaries as and when due.
He urged supporters of the movement to take the campaign to every level of society, including homes, religious centres, wards, local councils and polling units.
Also speaking, Governor Agbu Kefas said that residents were already witnessing the impact of the Tinubu administration through the projects being implemented in the state.
He assured of his administration’s commitment to the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda, adding that the state would continue to work with the federal government on development projects.
Earlier, the National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Sunday Asuku, said the group was in Taraba to extend its message of support for the president and the state governor, adding that abandoning Tinubu reforms would be counterproductive.
