Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has extended his contract with the club until 2030, committing his future to the Gunners beyond a decade at the Emirates Stadium.

The new deal comes after Arteta guided Arsenal to their first Premier League title under his leadership, following three successive second-place finishes.

The Spaniard also led the club to the Champions League and Carabao Cup finals last season, making it the most successful campaign of his tenure.

Arteta, who joined Arsenal as manager in 2019, described the contract extension as a privilege and expressed his gratitude to the club’s owners, players and supporters.

“This club is unique, its character and the way it makes you feel, and I have a great sense of privilege that our journey together will continue.
