Before Something Unpleasant Happens To Akpi…
The last edition of the periodic celebrity boxing tagged ‘Chaos In The Ring’, held on Nigeria’s Independence Day. The main bout was the male fight between rap artiste Speed Darlington aka Akpi and social media personality, Carter Efe while reality TV star Phyna and Nollywood star, Nkechi Blessing, dug it out in the female category.

T4T will not dwell much on the female fight as it turned out to be a huge disappointment after Nkechi Blessing fell down like a bag of ‘fufu’ in the first round and that was the end of the fight. The fight between Efe and Akpi was anti climatic. One does not know what to call what Akpi was doing in the ring but it was everything but boxing. Mrs T4T, after watching the first round online, hissed and went to the kitchen muttering under her breath that she would have done better than Akpi. T4T will try to describe what Akpi did that night. His two gloves covered hands were held in a defensive position in front of his face almost throughout the fight. And the funny part was, he remained crouched with his butt sticking out like one who was hiding from something or someone. In that ridiculous position, he was moving round the ring as he collected the beating of his life from Efe. At a point, his back was turned to Efe with his gloves still covering his face and Efe gave him a very ferocious blow that made him to spin in shock and pain.

The female referee is an amateur. She should have stopped the fight after Akpi, on many occasions had his back turned in fear. That is the rule, but she allowed Akpi to get the beating of his life.

A not too pleasant social media user said Akpi did not come to fight, that he came to collect the loser’s money, so, he just did what he could to stay afloat till the end of the fight to get his check. T4T agrees.

Last Thursday would make the second time he is losing in a celebrity boxing contest. He was seriously beaten by controversial singer, Zazzu, some time ago.

This is T4T’s advice to Akpi. Before something unpleasant happens to him, now is the time to stop submitting himself to serious beatings because he desperately needs the money as his music career is not what one can call a productive one, at the moment. And by the way, anybody who loves Akpi should tell him to go for a CT scan. He took a lot of blows to the head and for an amateur, that is not a good thing.

Let’s wish Akpi a ‘soonest recover’.

Julius Agwu Drops Bombshell!
WHEN T4T read the news in a national daily (not The Guardian), an Urhobo proverb immediately came to his head: “Instead of a man’s penis to ‘die’ (impotence), let all the teeth in his mouth break off.”

So, it was with a heavy heart that T4T read the revelation by once upon a time heavyweight comedian, Julius Agwu, that his manhood stopped working since 2015 after he had surgery for a brain tumour abroad.

Why on earth would Agwu reveal that publicly? To gain what, really? Another Urhobo Proverb tells us that a wizard never gets drunk and confesses to witchcraft.

Anyway, thank God Julius ‘De Genius’ Agwu have had all his kids before the unfortunate incident.

Delta Police Should Not Stop There
T4T follows the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Delta State, SP Bright Edafe on his social media accounts.

Last week, he revealed a case that shocked even T4T who thought he had seen it all. A video of three young boys below 16 years old and a 16-year old girl recently went viral in Ughelli, Delta State last week. The small boys were mocking the girl on why she came to the hotel to see them when she was on her monthly menstrual circle. They stripped her naked, had sex with her and still went ahead to release the video online.

The Delta Police Command arrested the main culprit and Edafe Bright paraded him at Police headquarters, Asaba. The boy admitted to the crime of rape and he revealed he was also into Internet fraud popularly called ‘Yahoo’ in Nigeria. This is a 16-year old child o!

Now, T4T is wondering why the owner and or manager of the hotel was not arrested alongside the teenager. A hotel staff who gave a room to three teenagers who were not accompanied by an adult, simply because they could afford it, should be arrested to explain why. In a sane society, any young looking person who wants to buy alcohol or cigarettes is asked for an ID to show he is of age to indulge. Little kids like that should have been asked to produce an NIN to ascertain their ages and asked to leave if they don’t have a valid ID. But because they are ‘Yahoo Boys’ with money to spend, the hotel management gave some toy kids a room!

An arrest and prosecution of the hotel manager or receptionist would serve as a deterrent to other hotel operators across the country that give rooms to teenagers.
