Pressdia has partnered with the Untitled Designers Conference 2026 as a media partner to strengthen publicity and draw greater attention to the designers, founders, and product leaders shaping Africa’s creative industry.
The conference will be held on October 16 and 17, 2026, at Regal Hall, Ikeja, Lagos, under the theme “Human by Design, Where Culture, Code and Creativity Meet.” The programme will begin with a private mixer for speakers, sponsors, partners and Inner Circle ticket holders on October 16, while the main conference will take place on October 17.
Through the partnership, Pressdia will support media coverage before, during and after the conference. The media visibility and press distribution platform will also help extend the reach of the event’s speakers, sessions and opportunities beyond those attending in person.
Tobi Akanni, a representative of Pressdia, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to helping important African stories reach relevant audiences.
“UDC has created a strong platform for designers and other creative professionals to learn, connect and find new opportunities. Pressdia is supporting the conference because the work happening within this community deserves greater visibility,” Akanni said.
Pressdia works with brands, businesses, professionals and organisations to distribute their stories through credible digital media. Its role at UDC 2026 will focus on amplifying the people and conversations driving the conference while helping the organisers sustain public attention around the event.
“Our responsibility is to make sure the value of the conference travels beyond the venue. We want people across Africa to discover the ideas, talent and opportunities that UDC 2026 will bring together,” Akanni added.
The Untitled Designers Conference began in 2022 as a platform where designers could learn from experienced professionals, connect with companies and build relationships with others in the industry. Its first edition attracted more than 700 attendees. Attendance rose to more than 1,000 in 2023, more than 1,500 in 2024 and more than 3,000 in 2025. The organisers expect at least 3,000 attendees in 2026.
More than 20 speakers are expected at this year’s conference. Announced speakers include Niyi Okeowo of Kuda, Ted Oladele of Chowdeck, Taiwo Folu of Eaxum, Bashiru Yusuf of Pushé Studio, Tony Ameji of Tony&Co and Onyechere Elizabeth Oloba of TheMerit agency.
The main conference will feature keynotes, panels and practical workshops covering design craft, product development, creative business and the future of African design. It will also include the UDC Design Challenge, where selected designers will compete live for a N500,000 cash prize, mentorship and access to future UDC events.
Pressdia said the partnership will help preserve the knowledge shared at the conference and connect it with audiences who can support the growth of Africa’s design community.
“Events create valuable conversations, but media coverage gives those conversations a longer life. We are pleased to work with the UDC team to ensure that the impact of this year’s conference reaches far beyond the people in the room,” Akanni said.
