The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has confirmed a tanker fire under the Otedola Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The agency’s spokesperson, Olawale Afolabi, confirmed the incident in a brief message sent to journalists on Monday.

Afolabi said the agency received a distress alert at about 4:24 pm and deployed its Tiger team to the scene.

He stated, “Tiger team en route to Otedola. Tanker on fire.”
