Scene of the incident

Four passengers yesterday sustained multiple fractures during a collision involving a Toyota Highlander and a commercial Mazda bus at Otedola, inward Berger, near Jubilee Gate, Lagos.

Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) said the injured passengers were rescued by officials of the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) and taken to the Lagos State Accident and Emergency Centre at Toll Gate for treatment.

In a statement by its Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, Adebayo Taofiq, LASTMA said the crash occurred on the main carriageway, prompting an emergency response by traffic management and medical personnel.
