The Grand Patron of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has deployed 52 vehicles to support grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in Ondo and Gombe states.
He made 26 vehicles available to each state yesterday during the inauguration of the movement’s local council coordinators in Akure and Gombe, respectively.
Represented by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited, Kestin Pondi, Tompolo urged the coordinators to intensify door-to-door campaigns across communities, council areas, religious institutions and other public spaces.
In Akure, he charged the coordinators to convert the state’s two million registered voters into votes for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. Describing Tinubu as a son of the South-West region, Tompolo urged the coordinators to highlight the administration’s achievements, including eliminating fuel queues and paying salaries and pensions.
For their part, Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his Gombe counterpart, Inuwa Yahaya, thanked the donor and the movement for providing the vehicles and other campaign materials.
While Aiyedatiwa declared his state’s support for Tinubu, Yahaya, disclosed that a N130 billion grant approved by Tinubu was helping his administration to implement an agricultural development programme targeting farmers, herders, processors and young people engaged in agriculture.
